The Belline Law Firm, LLC

The Belline Law Firm, LLC is an Atlanta based boutique law firm that specializes in complex immigration matters involving removal defense, family matters, and humanitarian-based immigration cases. We also provide legal services for select family and custody matters, criminal defense and post-conviction relief, and select civil cases. Formerly known as The Law Office of Peter R. Hill, P.C., in March 2018, Attorney Marguerite Belline acquired Mr. Hill’s law practice upon his semi-retirement from the practice of law and move to Seattle, Washington. Mr. Hill remains a part of The Belline Law Firm as the “Of Counsel” Attorney. A member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2007, Ms. Belline is uniquely qualified to handle these areas of law, particularly as the areas of criminal and immigration law commonly intersect.

Ruth Monenegro works closely with our clients and attorneys to provide the support necessary to ensure that each client’s case receives the attention necessary to succeed. Ruth makes sure every detail is taken care of by monitoring each case and helps the attorneys stay focused on other litigation matters. Ruth is passionate about other cultures, and truly enjoys getting to know our clients. She offers her full assistance and is meticulous about her work.

A California native with a Salvadorian background, Ruth has called Georgia her home for many years now. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University, she worked as Legal Assistant to Attorney Peter Hill for seven years.

She is fluent in Spanish and English, and proficient in French. During her free time she tends to her side business of certified document translations; often volunteers at various organizations, and enjoys spending time with her friends and pets.
